We need some extra hands to help us tackle those bigger cleaning and organizing projects around the Science Factory. Whether you can lend us a few hours or help with a full shift, we’d love to have you!

LSF Exhibit Moving, September 14 -18
We have some exciting exhibit updates and improvements coming up at the Lancaster Science Factory, and we’re looking for volunteers to help with the hands-on work behind the scenes.
This opportunity is a great fit if you’re comfortable lifting at least 50 pounds, using basic hand tools, and getting your hands dirty with a project. Experience moving large or bulky items is a bonus!

Volunteer Update:
We are currently reevaluating and restructuring our ongoing volunteer program and are not accepting new volunteer applications at this time. We anticipate reopening volunteer opportunities in Fall 2026.

Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers must be age 16+ and may need to complete background clearances required by law. Orientation and training will be provided. An ideal volunteer should be able to volunteer at least 2 shifts per month. We are seeking friendly individuals with a positive attitude and an interest in encouraging hands-on STEM learning.
