The Lancaster Science Factory will close at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 22nd, to prepare for the Creative Community STEAM Fair. We will reopen for that event at 4:00 pm!

Molly joined the education team in January 2024. She considers herself a lifelong learner and is happy to be a part of the team to help educate others while learning new skills. She has a bachelor’s degree in history education from Millersville University.

Born and raised in Lancaster County, Molly wanted to explore new places after graduating and worked seasonally in various outdoor recreation positions. These jobs took her around the country, including the Southeast and the West Coast where she was able to explore the natural world and learn a variety of new skills. These positions introduced her to the world of informal education and experiential learning. She believes that exposing people to new experiences and skills in a hands-on and safe environment is the best way to help them learn. Molly is excited to be back in her hometown to help expand her community’s experiential learning and environmental education opportunities.

In her spare time, you will find her hanging out with her family and pets, volunteering at a local wildlife rehabilitation center, or “making stuff” through one of her many hobbies.
