Megan joined the Science Factory in August of 2025 as the Education Coordinator and STEM Educator. Megan has an Early Childhood Education degree from Millersville University and has worked in informal education settings for over five years. Megan previously worked at a local children’s museum and grew a passion there for STEM education and teaching creative thinking.

Megan’s STEM hero is Robin Wall Kimmerer, botanist and author of Braiding Sweetgrass. Kimmerer’s invitation to be curious about the natural world has inspired Megan to encourage children to develop curiosity in the world around them.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, climbing, gardening, and learning more about native plants.
