Nicole LaRue

Nicole joined the full-time staff as the Visitor Services Coordinator in Fall 2025. She has built her career across the arts, nonprofit organizations, and customer-focused environments, including several years with the Asheville Community Theatre in Asheville, North Carolina. After a natural disaster prompted her return home to Lancaster, Nicole sought a role where she could continue contributing to community-centered spaces that prioritize access and education.

Nicole is a professionally trained makeup special effects artist and prop fabricator. She’s created large-sale puppets requiring multipe internal operators, sculpted and cast prosthetics for horror shows, and designed a wide array of wigs and makeup styles for full-cast stage productions!
