Day Camps @ The Science Factory!
The Lancaster Science Factory offers day camps at various times thoughout the year. Kids in grades K – 8 can spend their days off from school and holiday breaks engaging in fun hands-on STEM and exploring our expansive exhibit hall.
Each full-day camp is $80 per student. Scholarships are available for families with a financial need. Click here to complete the application online.

Winter Camp Schedule
Monday, December 29th | 9am – 4pm
- Craft and Code New Year’s Resolutions (Coding, Logic, Art, Grades 4 – 8 only)
- Dinosaurs (Natural Science, Problem Solving, Art, Engineering, Grades K – 3 only)
- Moving Machines (Mechanics and Motion, Problem Solving, Design, all grades)
- Each camp includes a supervised lunch break and exploration in the exhibit hall.
Tuesday, December 30th | 9am – 4pm
- Creating with Strawbees (Engineering, Art, Design, all grades)
- Sewing Science (Art, Design, Problem Solving, Math, Grades 4 – 8 only)
- Behind the Scenes Lights and Shadows (Art, Design, Problem Solving, Grades K – 3 only)
- Each camp includes a supervised lunch break and exploration in the exhibit hall.
Wednesday, December 31st | 9am – 12pm (HALF DAY ONLY)
- 3D Printing (Design, Problem Solving, Art Grades 4 – 8 only)
- Noon Year’s Eve Celebration (Art, Engineering, Time Grades K – 3 only)
Day and Winter Camp Cancelation Policy
- Cancellations (by the registrant) received less than one week prior to the camp will be subject to a refund of 1/2 of the total registration cost for that workshop. Cancellations received prior to that shall receive a full refund.
- Camps canceled by the Lancaster Science Factory for ANY reason will be refunded fully.
