FREE with admission

Game on!

We’re partnering with the Lancaster Rec Esports program for a day of video game design and play! Compete in popular games like Super Smash Brothers™ and Mario Kart™. Players can test their skills, cheer on friends, and experience the excitement of esports in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Visitors of all ages can also participate in our Play for Impact Video Game Design Workshops. Participants will design, develop, and test their own video game using Scratch, a block-based programming tool.
Stay tuned for more video game fun as the event gets closer!  This event is presented free with admission.

Why Video Games and Esports?

Esports is one of the fastest-growing career fields in the world, offering opportunities not only as players but also in areas like computer programming, digital art, broadcasting, marketing, and game development. Colleges and universities, including local institutions, now offer esports teams, scholarships, and academic pathways that turn a passion for gaming into meaningful careers.
