Have the Best Birthday EVER at the Science Factory!

Are you looking for a unique and exciting place to host your child’s next birthday party?  The Lancaster Science Factory has got you covered! We offer a private party room with all of our birthday packages and over 80 hands-on exhibits.  We also offer hosted parties with interactive science demos, options to add science-themed goodie boxes! We are Lancaster County’s BEST birthday destination!

Parties include free admission for up to 25 guests. Any additional guests will be admitted at the group rate of $12 per person. We recommend at least one adult chaperone for every five children. Parties are booked only on Saturdays or Sundays. Reservations must be booked at least (4) weeks in advance.

PARTY PACKAGES

Basic Birthday Party $350 (plus tax)

• Use of the private party room for two hours.
• Admission to the Lancaster Science Factory for up to 25 party guests (during the party and for the remainder of the day).
• The party room will come fully set up with tables and table covers and guests will love our STEM murals!
• You are free to bring your own food and drink if you wish!
• Any additional guests will be admitted at the group rate.

Experiment Party $450 (plus tax)

Please note: Due to the increased capacity of visitors during our summer camp season, we do not offer experiment parties from June 6th, 2026 to September 12th, 2026.

All aspects of the Basic Party AND:

• A dedicated party host to assist you with greeting guests.
• Your birthday host will lead an interactive science demo during your party. Choose from:
  • Elephant Toothpaste – Get ready to be messy! Be amazed by the power of household ingredients in this chemical reaction as you produce an overflowing, foamy reaction. Each child will be provided with eye protection.
  • It’s Slime Time – Make a perfect, three-ingredient slime recipe while learning about the states of matter. Transform two liquids into a sticky solid that you get to take home with you as a souvenir!
  • BeeBots (robots) – Kids who are brand new to robotics will love our friendly and responsive Beebots! Program them to create doodle art.
  • Watercolor Salt Painting – Embrace your inner artist and let your creativity shine as you create your very own watercolor masterpiece! Add salt for texture and watch as it blends your colors!
  • Laws of Motion – Impress your birthday guests by learning some science magic, courtesy of Sir Isaac Newton. Practice pulling out the tablecloth without disturbing your plates and cups. Will everyone master the motion?
