STEM-Themed Art Competition Continues – Submission Deadline June 15th
LANCASTER SCIENCE FACTORY ANNOUNCES S.T.E.M.-THEMED ART COMPETITION
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KEVIN LEHMAN, LANCASTER CREATIVE FACTORY
Now in its 10th year, the Lancaster Science Factory is expanding. As part of its expansion, the hands-on science center will permanently install a large mosaic artwork in its grand entrance way. The work is being completed in partnership with local ceramic artist, Kevin Lehman, and together they believe it is a great idea to collaborate with the entire community to help design our new mosaic. They love the creativity and enthusiasm of all the youth that visit the Lancaster Science Factory and want to include their ideas in the design process.
Students are encouraged to submit their original S.T.E.M-themed drawings to the competition. Five students will receive a $100 award for their drawing to be used in the design for the mosaic created by Kevin Lehman.
