Jillian Bender is the Visitor Services and Sales Manager at the Lancaster Science Factory, where she leads admissions, memberships, group visits, retail operations, and facility rentals. With years of experience in retail leadership and nonprofit volunteer work, Jillian brings both operational strength and a heart for service to the role.
She was drawn to the Science Factory by a desire to create meaningful change, combining her professional skills with a personal calling to impact the next generation through education. As a homeschool mom, Jillian understands the importance of nurturing curiosity and building confidence in children. Her faith and her son inspire her daily to help shape a space where families feel welcomed, valued, and excited to return.
Outside of work, Jillian enjoys spending as much time as possible with her partner and their son. She also loves family time, traveling, homeschooling, and relaxing with a good cup of coffee. They share their home with two lovable akitas.
Her STEM hero? Her son and all the kids discovering their love of learning.
