Get in Motion
Movements like yoga and dance aren’t just a lot of fun – they also demonstrate the science within and around us! Join us every other Sunday for a one-of-a-kind class combining yoga and dance with interactive lessons on biology, physics, and psychology. These 90-minute sessions will guide parcipants through basic yoga and dance movements and mindful meditation while demonstrating the science at work for each of them. Classes will end with traditional post-yoga tea!
The family-friendly classes are for ages 5 to 105! Parents and teens are welcome! No dance or yoga experience is necessary. Participants can feel free to bring their own mat but one is not necessary for the class. There will be six total sessions for the first round of this program. While it is not required to attend all of them, the lessons will each build on the knowledge from the previous.
Each session is $5 if registered in advance or $7 at the door.
